HISP contributed to the battle with global pandemic, COVID19 by involving design and development of the National COVID19 Surveillance System of Sri Lanka which is based on DHIS2 platform.

DHIS2 COVID19 package which is being used by nearly 20 countries is based on the initial metadata structure of this system.

The National COVID19 Surveillance System of Sri Lanka consists of several components to collect and analyze data from the field, hospitals, laboratories and ports of entries. HISP developed new web apps for relationship mapping, ICU bed tracking and COVID19 investigations tracking in this system.
